Our vision is one where the voluntary & community sector actively engages with education and training as a means of enabling their trustees, staff, volunteers and beneficiaries to achieve their full potential and overcome inequality and social injustice.

ViSTA will deliver learning and development programmes to individuals and organisations which will equip them with the skills and capabilities they need to make a positive difference to their future.

Aims

Workforce Development

To deliver professional development programmes and vocational courses which meet the needs of organisations and their staff (paid and unpaid).  

Community Learning

To deliver learning and development programmes to individuals and communities.               

Infrastructure Services

To provide specialist infrastructure services for the VCS in relation to developing their services and their learning and skills provision. 

Profile Raising

To raise the profile of the VCS and encourage collaboration and networking across the sectors.

Advocacy

To consult with our service users and the wider VCS in order to advocate on behalf of the sector and ensure that our services are responsive.
