Finbar Cullen has worked in the voluntary sector for over 20 years and has been a prospect researcher since 1999. 

He set up ResearchPlus in January 2005 offering a range of prospect research, training and consultancy services.  Before that, Finbar was a senior researcher at The Factary and worked for Children's Hospice South West on their major capital appeal for over 2 years.  He has researched individuals, companies, grant-making trusts etc., using a wide range of public domain resources. 

He is a member of the Researchers in Fundraising (RiF) committee, and is responsible for securing sponsorship for RiF conferences.  RiF is a special interest group of the Institute of Fundraising.  He is also a member of the RiF Data Protection Action Group and RiF Training Action Group.

Julia Dinsdale

Marion Rayner is Community Development Manager at Community First, the Rural Community Council (RCC) in Wiltshire and Swindon, where she leads on parish and community-led planning, community involvement, rural services and environmental issues.

Marion has worked in RCCs for 10 years and during this time her responsibilities have spanned village halls, rural services, rural transport, social enterprise as well as community consultation and parish plans. This followed a previous career as a biological technician supporting research on plant breeding, microbiology and red seaweeds!

She is an experienced trainer and regular runs a 5 session rolling programme of workshops for parish plan steering groups as well as other workshops on community consultation and environmental issues for communities.

Marion is married, has two grown up daughters and a grandson, and lives in a village near Bath where she is involved with a community shop project. Any spare time is spent indulging in her love of the countryside through natural history, walking and painting.
